C-Yacht
C-Yacht - behind this name stands the shipyard Zaadnoordijk Yachtbuilders, which today is one of the most successful and quality-oriented shipyards in the Netherlands. Zaadnoordijk build yachts using not only decades of experience, but also introducing modern technologies. Only the best materials are used in the construction of yachts and the method of vacuum infusion is increasingly used, which allows products under the C-Yachts brand to be relevant and competitive today. All yachts are CE classified in Category A - Ocean. Yachts under the C-Yachts brand are sailboats with a central cockpit layout from 9 to 12 meters.
C-Yacht will present a new line of yachts: C-Yacht 42ac and 47ac
The new C-Yacht range, starting with the 42AC and 47AC, is the result of a collaboration with renowned Dutch naval design bureau Dykstra Naval Architects.
The first drawings of the new range will be showcased at Boot Dusseldorf in Germany! Over the past two years, C-Yacht has conducted extensive market research, examining customer desires and preferences. An impressive number of 1200 sailors and yachtsmen from different countries and areas of sailing took part in web-based surveys, providing their valuable comments and suggestions. Based on the results of the survey, existing and potential customers took a significant part in the development of the design of the structures of the first projects. This was made possible by various means of feedback. Dykstra Naval Architects subsequently integrated the collected data into the blueprints for the new yachts. The customer process is a unique approach in the yacht building industry.
The AC series has been developed in response to the specific requirements and preferences of many yachtsmen: an even higher level of quality, ease of handling and an even greater comfort on board. As a result, the new models are equipped with a spacious cockpit with two steering wheels. A lot of attention is paid to safety, not forgetting about style and ease of operation, of course. C-Yacht's decision to start working with Dykstra Naval Architects is easy to explain. This is a logical decision. The Dykstra team are known for their incredible sailing yachts, but they also have a reputation for working with many different clients, understanding what is important to each of them. This is evidenced by the company's portfolio, which includes the famous J-Class yachts, the unique cruising yacht Bestevaer, the training clipper 'Stad Amsterdam', and now the C-Yacht AC range!
Case design
The hull has been designed with an emphasis on optimum sailing performance, ease of handling and character. What you will see are elegant and beautiful lines. The underwater section is longer in length: in combination with an increased ballast coefficient of 40%, this guarantees excellent stability and even more comfort on the water. The rigging is equipped with a small sail, which is easy to handle (optionally, it can be equipped with a self-twisting foresail), the twist is located under the deck and with a bowsprit to make it easier to use a larger spinnaker.
Deck design
Safety is central to the new models in the AC range. On board there is a separate place for a liferaft, which, if necessary, can be easily turned around: the raft can be stowed under the floor near the rudder. The ergonomic spacious cockpit with double helms is designed to steer the boat from the rudder in any position. All other lines, ends, ropes, including the ends of the self-twisting staysail, are retracted into the cockpit for convenience and safety. AC series yachts are built entirely with an ester sandwich type structure reinforced with a C-Yacht composite frame. The combination of 40% ballast ratio, double bulkheads, lightning rods and many other additional safety features means both the 42ac and 47ac are among the safest yachts available on the market right now.
The new aft yachts can be described as a modern cruiser with superior sailing performance, designed with an emphasis on safety, handling and comfort. C-Yachts yachts are built entirely in a single cycle at a shipyard in Holland. This will also make it possible to build yachts completely according to the wishes of the customer. Within the framework of one concept, the shipyard can realize the individual wishes of the buyer and his preferences. And this is what makes the shipyard truly unique. C-Yachts offers 16 different combinations, allowing the client to choose between 2 or 3 cabins in the layout, with the option of placing the owner's cabin at the front of the yacht. Additional options include the layout of the salon, toilets and bathrooms.
During Boot 2017, Europe's largest show, you can learn more about the new C-Yacht range. Also on display in Hall 16, Stand A37, is the C-Yacht 1250i with a center cockpit.
