Today's Evinrude motors compare favorably with competitors with a simpler and more reliable operating principle. The number of components in the injection system is almost half that of other brands of systems. Thanks to the new technology, the E-TEC series motors run very quietly and consume significantly less fuel than conventional 2-stroke motors. Their sound timbre is soft, and vibration is not noticeable throughout the entire rev range. At the same time, they weigh lighter, and are much faster on overclocking. Unlike other motors, the Evinrude enables the engine to start regardless of the battery condition - since the motor electronics do not require battery power.
Evinrude outboard motors combine all previously achieved technical advantages with new technical solutions.
Besides the fact that the new Evinrude 2005 model range is distinguished by incomparable power, it uses fundamentally new solutions. For the third year, the company has been presenting the perfect quality inherent in every Evinrude engine. Every part of the Evinrude prototype is rigorously tested before they enter the assembly line.

With regard to sea and fresh water, protection is also provided here. Each Evinrude outboard, ranging from 40 to 250 hp Coated with DeepGuard anti-corrosion paint for maximum wear resistance. In addition, every Evinrude outboard comes with a full three-year limited warranty covering the entire engine. It doesn't matter what exactly you do on the water; anywhere in any situation Evinrude will give you everything you expect from a boat engine.
Evinrude E-TEC outboard motors do not require any preventive maintenance for the first three years or 300 hours of normal operation. Even gear oil. You never have to change your engine oil or oil filter. The Evinrude E-TEC engine uses 50% less oil than conventional direct injection engines and 75% less oil than 2-stroke.
This is just the beginning. Evinrude uses an exclusive low friction design. No belts, intake and exhaust valves, gear parts, cams and mechanical oil pumps. This is all possible thanks to our commitment to durability, quality and reliability. And they are not just big, they are super strong.
