Water motorcycles are water vehicles equipped with their own engines of various powers. As for speed characteristics, almost all jet skis quickly glide through the water. The main classification divides jet skis into two types - “sedentary” and “standing”. The former are more common, since it is such jet skis that provide for walking in walking mode. However, there are not only tourist jet skis related to “sedentary” motorcycles, but also sport-tourist jet skis and exclusively sports jet skis. In addition, “seated” water jets can be double or triple. For family walks, large jet skis will be preferable.
The use of water vehicles is quite wide - from water motorcycles for various types of recreation to rescue vehicles. If we talk about “standing” jet skis, then we can note their excellent characteristics in maneuverability, which requires high skill from the person managing it. Stand-up water jets are used in water sports such as freestyle and racing. Statistics show that jet skis, both “sitting” and “standing”, are the safest type of vehicles traveling on water. However, this is achieved only with full observance of safety measures.
Hydrocycles equipped with a high-power engine can take one or two skiers in tow without special loads. In addition, there are special luggage racks for tourist jetski, in which you can put equipment for sports and recreation. Also, large watercraft can contain rear-view mirrors, anti-theft alarm, as well as reverse gear - reverse. All this suggests that "seated" water motorcycles are the most suitable for outdoor activities in virtually any body of water. After all, jet skis are able to move at shallow depths, due to the fact that a water jet is used as a mover.
Today, jet skis do not lag behind other types of modern vehicles. This is confirmed by the fact that jet skis have the most advanced technologies, which allows them to keep up with the times. The latest innovations can easily be attributed to an option that allows the water cannon to change the angle of inclination in the vertical direction. This feature allows sports aqua bikes to either jump high out of the water or dive deep into it. The maximum power of the engines that jet skis are equipped with can reach 255 hp, which makes it possible to develop a maximum water speed of 120 km / h. The materials from which the body of the bike is made are polymers, as well as composite materials.
Over the years, companies such as Yamaha, Polaris, Bombardier and Kawasaki have been moving forward by applying advanced technology to their products. The most serious "standing" jet skis are produced by Yamaha and Kawasaki. However, with a noticeable technical similarity, “standing” jet skis practically do not differ from their “sitting” counterparts, however, in control and maneuverability, “standing” jet skis require serious training and good athletic form. For those who want to buy a jet ski for themselves, it will not be superfluous to know that, according to Russian law, jet skis belong to the class of small boats, which requires registration within ten days from the date of purchase. It is also strongly recommended that annual service be performed at an authorized service center. At the same time, if any independent work is allowed in the instruction manual for a jet ski, it is possible to carry out minor repairs of a jet ski. In any case, jet skis should be kept in good condition at all times.
